Nicky
Nicky Hegarty came to this beautiful area of Salento house hunting in
2006. She met Lee-ann and they became firm friends. Nicky made a life
choice by deciding the grass was definitely greener down in Puglia.
So she left her stylish converted church house in London and her very
successful career as an award winning BBC television producer in order to
“live the dream”.
Nicky’s forte is in the kitchen, where she’ll be cooking up a variety of
culinary delights each day. Having worked alongside both Gordon
Ramsay and Jamie Oliver on programmes for the BBC, she’s picked up a
lot of first hand knowledge along the way, from some of the best!

Lee-ann
Lee-ann Holmes originally came to this beautiful area of Salento when she
holidayed as a teenager. But she didn’t just fall in love with Puglia, she also
fell in love with a young handsome Italian boy called Alessio. Many years
later, they rekindled their holiday romance and Lee-ann and Alessio were
married two years ago in the beautiful Cathedral in Otranto.
Lee-ann has extensive experience in the Puglia holidays tourist industry,
working mainly on cruise ships taking her everywhere; from Tahiti to
Tobago and beyond.
Since Lee-ann moved to the Salento area of Puglia over five years ago,
she has run a thriving bed and breakfast business, as well as an extremely
successful property company. Lee-ann has sold houses to clients not only
from England, but also from the United States, Sweden and Russia..
Lee-ann speaks fluent Italian and as one of the areas most successful
businesswomen, she knows the area like the back of her hand. If anybody
in Salento knows the right places to be and the right people to see
………….. it’s Lee-ann!.
